Purpose of Mission
The purpose of the Sacred Heart Center for Peace is to join the Immaculate Heart of Mary in leading all people into the Trinitarian love of God. Mary draws us to the heart of her Son that we, like her, may allow Him to be born in our lives through the power of the Holy Spirit. Like Mary consecrated in the Word, in the Truth, we join with Jesus in working and praying that all may be one.
“Father may they be one in Us as You are one in Me and I am in You….with Me in them and You in Me, may they be so completely one that the world will realize that it was You who sent Me…so that the love with which You loved Me may be in them.” (Jn 17)
We join Mary and strive to make her prayer to the Father our own, “Let it be done to me according to your word.” (Lk 1:38)
