Building 1: Catholic Evangelization Center
A Place of Unity!
This center of Catholic evangelization, shall promote an atmosphere of unity within the Church by teaching pilgrims about prayer, fasting, the sacraments, doctrines of the faith and the various treasured devotions practiced within the Church. Every aspect of this Center for Peace shall serve and support the universality of the Church as one Body! The Center will be a place not only for individuals, but for families and larger groups. Ultimately the center’s purpose will be to draw souls to the Peace and Love of Jesus Christ.
Presentation of Information
The footprint of the evangelization center shall present information in specifically designated rooms and the layout shall allow visitors to proceed from room to room at their own individual pace. Pilgrims will have the opportunity to view educational DVD videos pictorial presentations and literature that will captivate and instruct them on the historical depth and longevity of the Catholic faith, drawing them ever closer to Our Lord Jesus Christ.

The Center will have 20 educational rooms for the pilgrims to experience. These are just a sampling of the proposed areas of education to be offered within the Center. A diverse range of topics shall be offered to assist pilgrims on their journey through the faith.
The Word
This designated room will instruct pilgrims on how God has revealed Himself to mankind through Divine Revelation in the Holy Scriptures as well as, the importance of reading/listening, studying and meditating on the Word of God.
Sacraments of the Church
An educational presentation, as well as literature, shall teach pilgrims about the seven sacraments of the Catholic Church, their purpose, meaning, and relevance in their spiritual growth.
Conversion/Sacrament of Penance
A video will be played which will inform people on the meaning, scriptural basis and purpose of this wonderful gift from God, the sacrament of penance. The role this sacrament has in restoring us to a peaceful relationship with God will be made clear. Literature will also be made available on this sacrament and how to make a good confession.
Holy Mass
This room shall provide presentations to expound upon the origin of the parts of the Mass, the spiritual significance of transubstantiation, various symbols, rites and rituals practiced during the most holy sacrifice of the Mass.
Holy Eucharist (Miracles and Adoration)
This room will educate people on what and Who is the Holy Eucharist? History and information about the Holy Eucharist, as well as, Eucharistic Adoration and its importance will be made available. Documented and approved Eucharistic miracles by the Catholic Church will be displayed and discussed. How to begin Eucharistic Adoration in your parish will also be made available.
Pray the Rosary
This room will educate people on the history of the rosary, the scriptural significance, and how to pray it.
Divine Mercy
A historical presentation on the origin and institution of the Feast of Divine Mercy shall be available. A short biography story on St. Faustina Kowalska, the first canonized saint of the new millennium by Pope John Paul II shall be included. Information on the Divine Mercy chaplet will be available.
Our Blessed Mother and the Church
This area shall be dedicated to Jesus’ Mother Mary and shall correspond each month with the various sacred Marian feast days recognized by the Church. (i.e. Titles of Mary, Litany of the Blessed Virgin Mary, liturgical topics on Mary, etc.) A special emphasis will be given on Mary’s role as Mother of God and our Mother, as well as, Her role as the Queen of Peace who continuously directs us to Her Son, Jesus Christ.
Marian Apparitions
Documented and approved apparitions of Our Lady and her corresponding messages to her children around the world shall be shared with the pilgrims. The information shall encompass literature and documentation of miracles pertaining to specific apparition sites.
Children’s Room
This room will be for supervised children to gather and will have a variety of materials to help promote the education of children in the Catholic faith.
These are only a sampling of the rooms, as many other aspects of the Catholic faith will also be presented. As you can see, the topics offered in the Center will cover a diverse range of topics of interest.

Chapel
At the apex of the Center there will be a chapel. The chapel is anticipated to hold approximately 300 people. It will be utilized for the celebration of Holy Mass, private meditation, Eucharistic adoration, and other spiritual devotions, {eg.the Rosary and Divine Mercy chaplet.}
Movie Theater
One wing of the Center shall contain a theater, where movies and documentaries on various themes shall be offered for viewing. The themes shall cover a wide range of Christian productions, including exposure to the lives of the Saints, Catechetical teachings and Marian apparitions.
Gift Shop
The Center will also provide a gift shop offering a variety of religious items intended to enhance your faith. Some of the items offered will be books, videos, religious items that may be blessed to become sacramentals, music tapes/CDs, statues, and many other items.
Meeting Rooms
The Sacred Heart Center for Peace shall offer two large meeting rooms for utilization by group retreats, conferences and other social functions.
Information Stations
There will be three areas centrally located in the Center in which visitors can acquire various types of information.
General Information
There shall be a general information desk where pilgrims may ask questions about the Center, upcoming events, retreats and conferences that shall be presented in the future.
Worldwide Pilgrimages
A worldwide pilgrimage service shall be available, giving pilgrims the opportunity to visit various Basilicas, Marian shrines; sites of saints, Eucharistic miracles and other places of interest. Information and details on upcoming pilgrimages will be provided to visitors.
Vocations
This vital area shall encourage young men and women consider how they may answer God’s call to the religious life. An overview of the various religious Orders within the Catholic Church shall be available to those discerning a religious vocation.
Outdoor Prayer Areas
The Center to also have an outdoor Stations of the Cross and Rosary garden which will be for private and group prayer and meditation.
